America can we make amends with the people.
Forgiveness
Where does it come from,
It seems like a sad song,
But really we sing it all day and night long,
It’s hard to imitate,
It’ll kill you if you try and negotiate,
It’s still the hardest thing to do
And the hardest thing to get
Let’s not even talk about trust,
Have another question
How about next,
It can follow you for a lifetime
Or happen in an instant
Sometimes you know you need it
Other times you fidget,
Might make you take a second guess
It’s definitely not a scientist friend,
There’s no method or no inference,
Some people might accept it
Others might feel different,
Regardless we all need it and must be willing to give it
This is why Jesus was so gifted
Lost his love
Died on a cross
Buddha brought him back
And he still hasn’t fixed it
She hasn’t left
Just watching from a far
Lady forgiveness
Do you have to be so hard
He gave up his life
And it wasn’t just
Krishna transformed him
Still he wasn’t enough
Mohammed gave us laws
Reasons to fight and war
She doesn’t want half of your heart
She wants to be adored
So if your going to try
Give it all that you got,
And you will finally learn
How love and forgiveness is taught
