A Perfect Night
Imagine a sunset
Such a beautiful glow
Above a sparkling stream
A blanket for two
No in between
A glass of the finest wine
Speechless I touch your lips
I begin to move closer
Fighting temptation
I try but I lose
Your hand gently stokes my cheek
As you begin to smile
And I do too
Not because I know
What is about to take place
And that I do
But because it is so perfect
Like from a dream
You lean forward
And gently tease my lips

You say those three little words

Is this really real

Shivers racing down my spine
It’s all I’ve ever wanted
It’s all I’ve ever dreamed
You shower me in kisses
From head to toe
How could I be this lucky?
