Anniversary Poem
To My Husband
10 years together and we weathered stormy skies.
Some people may mistake our love for paradise.
They could never imagine the feeling I get just looking your eyes.
You’re the sugar to my tea,
You sweetly complete me
You keep my feet on solid ground.
While the rest of the world keeps dragging me around.
You keep me positive when I just can’t see the end in sight.
Lovingly, you wrap your arms around me tight every single night.
You love me like I’m treasure.
Baby you’re better than diamonds to me.
My love for you won’t diminish,
You’re stuck with me’ til the finish.
If I lost you, I spend the rest of my life alone.
Because in your arms is the only place I ever want to feel home.
You shelter me, I am my own worst enemy.
You fight the darkness, you are my guiding light
Here’s to 10 years together and we stay like this forever, more.

I wrote this as a tribute to my husband on our 10 year anniversary of us being together to let him know how much I love him!
