Life's Mess
It’s a mystery to me
How one person can be
So different day to day
You hardly know what to say
It’s hard when you love someone
But hate everything they do
You can go for years
Without them saying “I love you”
Unless you say it first
It’s crazy how you can hate someone so much
But still love them from deep within
So you show no emotion
Because you don’t know where to begin
It’s funny how not matter how bad they hurt you
Your love can be so strong and true
A daughter’s love for her mother is a never ending thing
No time can stop it
No person can stand in the way
It’s just easier to isolate yourself
Than to deal with all the pain
When you have so much anger
When you feel so much hurt
But you know they will never understand
You know they can never see
Why this cold possibly be
They never take the time to think
They never take the time to wonder
No matter how much you hate her
Deep down you know you love her
And you always will
But you need time to heal
You need to leave the past behind
You need to let it all go
But when the pain is real
And it is all you can feel
