across the blue sky
through the night like a bug
we dream blissfully snug
and into the new day rise
clear into a new year our eyes
the sun casting rays steadily
of life of love once more freely
onto us all its children wise
across under the wide blue sky
yes maybe a cold unsure
first few days of the new year
blissfully keep warm we make sure
yes smiles on our faces we wear
no sooner than ever be we will see
all the gorgeous sweet fragrant flowers
blossoming around you and me
yonder as well near our neighbors
soon angel voices will ring grace
gather we all in peace embrace
care continually with joyful cry
all across under the wide blue sky
kindness kindled in us will again
bring forth the virtues of the wholeness
nature of the world that has always lain
protected rooted... its seeds of goodness
