love’s passion never dies
after a long day’s romancing
the sun simply sets
always
permeating
through all the niches
canopies and interstitials
of paradise earth
the sky
land
forests
water
all the beings
intermingling
the colors
of the flowers
of paradise life
at the end of the day
the sun seeks solitude
listens to the songs
of the horizons
at the tail end
like a comet trailing light
sun’s residual light diffuses
through all
the fiery rainbow horizons
but the passion lingers on
a twilight awakening
or reawakening
the dawn seizes the moment
and a new day begins
a new toiling of the field
a new seed planted
watered
cared for
romanced
given more caring
until a leaf emerges
soul’s passion
rekindled
permeating once more
the spaces in and
of our souls
one with the sun
we are
one with the universe
we are
we continue to rise
we seek
we continue to set
since eternity
our passion
our soul
we smile
we repeat
