Valentine’s wish
...let it be a miracle
Valentine’s wish
let it be we see
the loving of our Lord
the healing he does
at all times
we see let it be
the tears of piety
mother of Christ
praying for us
to be whole again
son Jesus we see
the giving of his life
so we may live
a life forgiving
the spirit dwelling
in our heart
a beacon keeping
the pathway lit
we hold hands caring
for our beloved ones
restore to health from sickness
broken hearts from despair
hear grant us blessings Lord
forgiveness for a life
laden with sins of impiety
wickedness apathy
grant us the blessings
to empty our life of anxieties
hear our heart’s longing
to continue to love share
laughters with the downtrodden
long yearning to laugh
long seeking a refuge
from a stranger’s smile
life you have given us kept safe
in blissful cocoon our mother’s womb
let out into a world not seen
we scream fearful rage
in our moments of pain
sought to be whole again
with compassion empathy
imbued from the sacred womb
let it be a radiant world
joyful out under a cerulean sky
a miracle we believe in
a Valentine’s wish for us all
