Thoughts of a sleepless night
We all search for a purpose to living,
Yet death is at the same time
Inevitable and our destination.
Being the one thing, we fear most.
Sleep is often seen as an example of death
But in death, you do not wake up.
No more thoughts, no more purpose
The end of our questions lies at the end of our lives.
So how can an answer to our existence even exist itself,
If our purpose is to die,
But all humans’ instincts say to survive.
Some wait for a god that appears at the end,
Some wait for an endless slumber,
Some wait for an answer,
Some... are already gone
While the cycle continues.
These are the reasons I am unable to sleep at night
