In this world I see...

In this world I see many different things;
love, hatred, confusion, and pain.

I see smiles, laughs, fights, and hugs,
dogs, cats, birds, and bugs.

I see leaves falling from trees in the fall,
to the mountains in Cali ever so tall.

I see friends and families spending time,
to people out shopping, spending every dime.

I see weddings, funerals, parties, and fairs,
the world is dying, not everyone cares.

I see goals set and dreams shared,
wars going on and hearts being torn.

I see drinkers, players, liars and jokers,
the serious, tough, and even the smokers.

I see kids screaming and racing to the slides,
waves in the ocean creating tides.

I see jobs lost, and families losing it all,
churches, schools, theaters, and malls.

I see winners, losers, fortune and fame,
high school boys playing the same old game.

I see friendships grow and new things learned,
at a blink of an eye everything can be turned.

I see quiet countries and busy towns,
styles and outfits spreading around.

I see talents noticed, dreams begin,
memories kept to be shared again.

I see words of hate, hints of love,
actions of pain, and the push and shove.

I see the clicks all alike the same in everyway,
not caring about anything except how much they weigh.

In this world I see many different things,
challenges, games, experiences, and adventures.
