Incomplete

I blink,

And in this moment I am still.

My heart sinks,

And I know your words are real.

Forgotten,

But I was never lost,

Internally,

I struggle to live the life I’m tossed.

Invincible,

I thought I was at least,

Until the day that I woke up,

And had to face the beast.

Now the truth and reality,

It beats me down,

All of this brutality,

Until I’m underground,

No one will remember me.
