I saw you first in tears,

Screaming from deep inside,

Hands over your face

As if you were trying to hide.

I was scared at first,

Unsure of what would come,

But now I love you so much,

All that worry does seem dumb.

Sitting in your seat,

Right across from me,

I saw you crack a smile,

And my heart melted for thee.

What joy you bring,

What love I feel,

Not sure now what I would do without you,

You’re the only thing that’s real.

I love you when you cry
