dead leaf hanging

yellow flashing
white laying
brown reaching
gray creeping
blue floating
green under
o what wonder
winter land
peeking around the other
knowing what is asunder
bragging of the life - spent
in a moment of time –drying
what once was alive
and new - what a shoot was
as it uncurls the five
now only memories
shivering in the cold
even the bees now
deep into the hive
still continue to thrive
