Yours Truly

Mom, you never thought in your life, about a boy you’d adopt,
who’d speak more words then, Limbaugh,
and get told more than just once, he should stop,

So you’ll be thinking I’m freaking, when you read,
All That I’m Thinking, which takes you back a few seasons,
when I was young and a heathen,

If you take a life full of lies, and write them down in a line,
then made the words so they’d rhyme,
you’d have my life on the spot.

It’s like the story of my life, when evil comes, I get shocked,
then like my brain comes to life, I start to think, then I write,

See, you never once sat and thought, about those poems that I’d write, are actually things that in life, I couldn’t explain,
so I’d write,

If you take a life full of lies, and write them down in a line,
then made the words so they’d rhyme,
you’d have my life on the spot.
