To the state goverment
I remember a time when a trip on the bus was an exotic adventure
Now my mental state is such that anxiety is beyond conjecture
Paranoia from stangers ever growing stranger
Fear of the unknown is the greatest danger
Abuse of substances has left me unsure
Substances that always seemed pure
Now the only purity is the relief I feel
When my stop looms and I hear the stopping wheels
