"I create poetry under the pseudonym of "The Refined Poet" due to the style of my writings. I do not write from a place of angst, frustration, or inner turmoil. My poetry comes from biblical, thoughtful introspection and consideration of various topics while respecting the many forms of the poetic genre." ~TRP~ More poetry by TRP: My other free poetry links where you will find more of my writings: More poetry at HELLO POETRY My writings at WRITER'S CAFE My Official Poetry Site at THE POETRY PLACE And yet more writings at DEEPUNDERGROUNDPOETRY.COM Even more poetry at ALL POETRY
I am a confused being not knowing where I belong but I want to touch people with the arts and be touched myself I want to inspire and to be inspired I want to save and be saved and most of all I want to figure out my existence A quote from me although I haven't taken the time to look up if someone has already said this "Life has no logical reason." I'm young in age but my soul is wise and carries many messages that I hope you take the time to listen to. Music and other poets are my main source of inspiration but I'm still very capable of gaining inspiration from the small things like the way the grass wavers in the wind or how rain drops cling to my eyelashes when I'm dancing in the rain. I was born to create and words flow through my veins and impatiently rest beneath my tongue aching to be heard. My poems are cathartic and self healing but they often connect with others and help others as well. I enjoy writing for others and being their voice to portray how they feel when they lack the words needed. I live to write and I write to live. I want to improve and have constructive criticism, but compliments also help out and make me feel appreciated :)
I've always been creative since I was a little girl. I would write poems, song lyrics, create things, draw, color and sing. My imagination was always big and vivid. As I got older I started to write short stories and even went to college to get a degree in creative writing. Well I ended up becoming a hairstylist which I love doing so much. I decided that writing was a hobby for me, a way to escape and release and I love it. I'm happy that I can be on here to share my talent with the world.
A summary of my life? Gosh, that's a bit personal, don't you think? I'll just tell you how I got into writing. I was about 11. It started out with writing a poem to my brother's dad after he, once again, betrayed our trust. Won't go into that. I wasn't very good, I mean the poem was good and it meant a lot to me but I always had a lot of trouble with punctuation and spelling and all kinds of things, so I had a lot of mistakes. But after that, I started writing fanfiction for Twilight and Castle, along with bits and pieces of things here and there, I wish I'd kept the stories I wrote, they were really good and I was proud of them but I didn't, otherwise I would send you to take a gander. Anyway, it eventually became very obvious that I couldn't keep a story going for more than a couple of chapters without losing interest and falling miserably into the pit of writer's block. However, poetry was easy for me to follow through wih, didn't have to follow any chronological order, and I could write it in short bursts as the inspiration came to me. Slowly, the short bursts turned into days, and then weeks, and months and eventually I landed here, where my sole thought and purpose revolves around poetry. It's gotten to a point that if I couldn't write, I would probably jump off a bridge. It is literally the reason that I am alive today, it save d my life and got me through some of the hardest times in my life.

I am 27 years old . I've been debating what I want to do as a career choice and along the way I found poetry to be a great way for me to write down how I truly feel. Sometimes when I really feel what's going on and it affects me I'll have it in my thoughts and sometimes it may not rhyme and other times the words will jus come to me . So after years of searching what I want to do I am now going to school to be a Vet Tech and right now I am off to a new beginning . My dad passed away last summer and shorty after that I ended a five year relationship with my first true love . It's been a long journey for me to actually come this far but I feel as if it's a new road and a positive outlook on the wonders to come .
My name is Delcaudo Pedro Beauvoir, but most of my friends call me Pedro, writing poetry, poems sonnets,is something always wanted to do,when i first realize how great I was.I hope that I can make a great impact in the other great poets out there, who truly love the art of writing as much as do.I am a very respectfully person, who gives everything value and appreciation to others for there hard work. I like to hangout with my friends, but most of all I like to write music also, and am also learning how to play music, as of right now am learning the soprano sax . I think music shares lots of common principles, when you are writing a poems, are any kinds of creative writing of your choice.

The language and rhythm of African people have been an obsession throughout my life. I can still vividly remember the heavy syrupy dialect that impregnated my ears as a small boy, the hypnotic rhythm-ming of the body movements of African people that continue to sang to me, and the depth of the wellsprings silently stirring inside the language forged in the North American experience of African people. By means of my tonal drawings, I am trying to actualize this experience-ing for the benefit of us all. I am Asili Ya Nadhiri, born on August 29, 1944 in Durham, North Carolina and raised in a small tobacco town named Clinton, North Carolina. My undergraduate education took place at Hampton Institute and Ithaca College, Masters at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and ABD (all but dissertation) at the University of Florida in Gainesville. I have been an instructor of vocational agriculture and social studies in the Orange County Public School System (Orlando, Florida) for the past thirty-two years.
