The Raptor

He claps the critter with Aquilian hands,
Close to the sun in lonely lands,
Bound with the azure world, there he stands!

The sea with crest beneath him crawls,
He watches from his mountain walls,
And like a thunderbolt, he falls!

He flutters in the troposphere, tall and bold,
In the geography with supreme cold,
He is a potentate, you see, I told!

Inspired from 'The Eagle', this poem is a tribute to one of the greatest poets of all time- Alfred Lord Tennyson!
