Cheerful Green Spirit of Kind Lady María
Sweet Maria’s lifted me up so high again
I’m floating over my life in contemplation
I see such truth and this inner light shines
A ray of sunlight illuminating the shadows
This morning I was depressed without joy
I felt hopeless and was in a spiritual crisis
And the past did hang heavily in my heart
I was so sad and I was not able to smile
I didn’t feel like dealing with life’s hassles
But Maria taught me to forget yesterday
And count my reasons for feeling happy
Indeed it is the chi of the sacred chalice
And the wisdom of the smoke of thinking
By the buzz of green oblivion I am serene
And I can see that existence is an illusion
Everthing changes, nothing is permanent
It is how everyday life is and life goes on
There are many disappointing decisions
And flaws, error, ugliness and daily sham
To exist happily is not an easy trick to do
That’s why I make life better with a biffter
And the green joy of Maria of good humor
Oh I feel the green love of herb goodness
It elevates me above the shit of existance
Maria teaches one how to grow spiritually
She’s the lady who comes to cheer me up
