All for using a plant to ease her symptoms
For requiring the kindest treatment of nature
And the relief that cannabis flower gives her
Stopping spasm, pain, and niggly numbness
Giving respite from her painful daily condition
She requires a natural, safe effective medicine
A remedy free from radical harmful side efeect
Cannabis bud to improve her standard of living
It isn’t too much to want for her to be left alone
To live her life with dignity, free of state threats
To have security of home, family life and hope
The judge at her very first weed trial got it right
He couldn’t blame her for her herb medicating
Surely this brave lady’s defence is her necessity
Multiple Sclerosis is no joke or a cause of crime
But should be a self evident right to medication
Free of stigma, state interference of their hatred
A true miscarriage to find Lezley not innocent
Let her have dignity and chance of a happier life
She does not deserve to be interrogated at trial
But be left alone to grow, medicate and to smile
