Love’s Green Herb, Zara Zana svasya Kama
Oh Lord let us give to thee this finest pooja
Please accept this patra-ganjah as offering
May the scent of this fine herb please thee
Please accept this weed with great respect
Accept the best bud which we lovingly give
May we place down these aromatic flowers
Upon thine alter aside thy loved bilva-patra
This burnt offering we give lovingly to thee
May the sweet smokey perfume fumes rise
Let the billows of smoke be our veneration
Thy holy smoke is a sign of infinite wisdom
To inhale green prana’s a sacred dedication
May we offer sticky purple pooja to the Lord
A peaceful herbil sacrifice consumed by fire
The eternal flame that purifies and sustains
By fiery transmutation ganjah’s ritually burnt
To fill our body and minds with green prana
So we may attain a higher way of cogitation
And augment our spirit with universal power
Unto the Lord we offer pooja as a fine flower
In reverence we burn and inhale eternal love
Our floral offering, a cosmic gift and pleasure
A symbol of thy love that we’ll always cherish
