Since classic times she’s been a good ally
A kind plant Mother looking after humans
Providing gentle medication of great relief
Infusing man with joy and pleasant moods
Giving him solace in the times of sadness

She has been there to swiftly pick man up
To dispel heartache and unbearable grief
To dust him down to put a grin on his face
Pot makes man happy with subtle euphoria
Soaking his brain with irie feeling of all’s OK
Putting a song back in his heart once again
Since classic times Mother Mary’s soothed
Made us see technicolor visions of beauty
And cheered us up to make us laugh madly
We aught chuckle at the cosmic joke of life
And make the most of the cards we’re dealt
Via our own creativity we create positivity
As long as we have a little herb to smoke
Life isn’t too bad if we can ponder stoned
