Addicted, is probably the best word to use
Conflicted, since these feeling came too soon
But when its right, its right
And I’m glad its you that made these feelings bloom
I feel gifted to just have your attention
And if loving you was a crime
I would happily serve a life sentence
Corny I know, but I usually don’t speak like this
Especially to express my thoughts in a tryst,
A meeting of hearts
With feelings like ours
I feel we are far
From me being apart, From you,
Its true, I’m head over heels
Twitterpated and ready to feel
Disintegrated by something steady and real
Just by being this close, Its like I’m getting to steal
Something reserved just for the gods…
Something that’s supposed to be way out of my grasp
But you’re close to me and I hope it’ll last
Cuz if your love had a price I’d sell my soul for the cash
A love that inspires song and poetry
Its a mutual asymmetry,
Since one loves the other more than the other could see
Well I just wanted to say thank you for showing me “Us”
And express that I’m grateful for you showing me love
And I hope that this poem shows it enough.
