Dearest

To my dearest Gravity,

Why do you insist on pulling me down?
If you want me there, hold me there.
But now I know,
the sky tastes much better than the ground.

I’ve been up there before
with the poisonous and infectious clouds.
They took me by the neck and threw me against the current.
The pain never showed up, this was expected.
I will hold my breath until his arrival.
This bout could be the final.

Why do you insist on pulling me down?
What was up there, it’s too good to pass on.
I never wanted to know
the sky tastes much better than the ground.
