Shadow Dance
I wanted to perform my shadow dance
but not on the stage.
Then they could see me
trying to hold you with me.
Only two days, maybe three.
They will show me exactly what I want
for this to be.
The thought hasn’t crossed my mind yet.
Knowing it will come, I’ll sharpen my knives.
