Air travel is always tense because
the fear of missing a flight
is far more stressful
than it needs to be.
And yet being aboard the plane
at 10,000 feet and rising
makes it all seem like wasted energy
an exercise in futility
a pointless source of aggravation.
So let the trip begin, already.
