You are now a figment of my imagination.
Translucent and settled amongst the particles of dust floating beneath my window.
I watched them dance in the sunlight.
You were graceful and you were strong..
I will never forget how you fought through the pain just to breathe another day and carry on.
I see your face in every stranger.
I see your smile on every mouth.
I pray to hear your laugh every time that I go out.
But you’re gone and I’m still here. Some days I wish that I could disappear.
My love will never fade, even though I’m with another..It hurts to hear your name and when I think of you I shudder.
