I used to be happy
I would smile all the time
Laugh at the smallest things
I used to believe
that anything is possible
But I don’t anymore
I used to think
A person could never be so dead
but so alive all at once
Until that person was me
It was them, the ones who hurt me
with their words i never can ignore
who make me wish i was dead
but I know with all my heart,
I’ll be okay again someday
I used to be happy
I would smile all the time
Laugh at the smallest things
but now i feel as though
I’ve lost my smile for good
But I know I’ll be okay
Don’t try talking to me
it isn’t going to work
So for now, I say goodbye
Until I can find my smile again, and if I don’t.
Don’t worry 'bout me, I’ll be okay
Better then I am now anyway
