Somewhere in-between Happiness and sadness
and also just plain madness
We think we find the right one
Yet it was just an illusion
He was playing head games
On who he blames
is no one but me
It was just infatuation
I asked him if
his heart was lost
somewhere in-between
Heaven and birth
He answered me with
Maybe yes and maybe no
Somewhere in-between
my sadness and confusion
I realized he thought
My heart was just a welcome mat
His lies I bought
No need to be concerned
I’ll be okay,
it was another lesson learned
Somewhere in-between
Healing and starting again
I realize that tomorrow is a new day
