If my legs are broken, and yours are too....
How will we walk?
What will we do?
What will happen, if dangers arrive?
Broken legs cannot run.....
Nor crawl on the ground.
No places to hide.....
We will just be found.
How will I depend on you,
If you have no legs to lead?
My broken legs, can’t even follow.
I cannot even take heed.
Are shared emotions and sweet nothings enough,
to shield us from coming storms?
Leader weakness is coddled like children....
it is now a societal norm.
What will we do with broken legs,
but lay there until we die.
In times like this,
I pray to God,
to give me wings to fly.
