I’m from the south
With humidity, grass, and green
The birds chirping
The sun making my skin warm
I’m from the sound of music
Country, rock, and marching band
I’m from the sound of fans going crazy in the stands
Football games on A day
I’m from metal
Metal of a car or instrument
Flute, saxophone, or piccolo
Pickup truck or car
I’m from paper
Writing my stories and poems
Escaping into the world of literature
Getting away from my problems
Some may not like it
But they make up who I am
Music, literature and football
They’re where I’m from
This was actually an English assignment that I had to do, but I decided to publish it :)
