left to die

I wrote this when i felt the entirety of my life fall apart right in front of my eyes. The thought of losing the love of my life.

As I lay here
with memories that surround me,
on the walls in which we painted,
and the bed of wreckless abandon,
now only just a mere haunting that suffocate me as I sleep,

The only thing left of you are moments, the good the bad and the ugly, but I don’t want them anymore,
reminders that show me
how madly in love we once were.
