Hanaomi

(Flower-Viewing)

Hanaomi (Flower-Viewing)

Haru, the seasonal change commonly known as spring.

Under the silhouette from the tree I eagerly await your arrival.

Staring at the mighty blue the clouds shadow my

Disappointment in which you were not able to fulfill your promise.

The mere thought of you who I thought was an iris,

Is now the wisteria petals scattering and drifting away passionately

As if a blizzard was conjured freezing my tears in place.

Dew droplets that streak down on my profile nurture the parched soil.

It takes root, absorbs, and sprouts through the strength of photosynthesis.

So, my manifestation emerges standing tall into

A countless colorful creation made by Mother Nature.

Like a bud waiting for a flower,

Flowers are the mirrors of the seasons reflecting the passage of time.

Have you forgotten the vow we made?

You cannot taint the soles of your shoes,

Endure the howling currents of the tornadoes, weeping rain or

Walk the mountain terrain to meet one last time before we part?

For every moment of the year that ends with “y”

Eons whether old or young I never withered astray.

My affection being the completely devoted dog to its master.

Has continued to love you with you being my personal flower and not my heart.

We pollinated and bonded closely airborne.

The wind’s hands guiding us in unison stem and stem.

Without you here I’m all alone.

I will not say I’m heartbroken since I am a flower.

Casting a smile and providing both joy and happiness to others.

Like life I will be reincarnated and begin anew.

Forever waiting, blooming only for you.
