Rai
The lightning crashes down onto the wet pavement we call the ground
As it strikes fear almost to the speed of sound
I know that it’s a sign of rain
Just from the sound the children tremble in pain
Seeing flashes of light that pass by
Lighting, clouds, thunder, create the weather we call rain, that’s not a lie
But although it may be scary now
As we grow up, we’ll be accustomed to the sound, and think, Wow
