Chameleon Forest
Chameleon forest of ever-changing colors
from white to green and all the others,
change from cooler nights and shorter days
to blend with the climate as it sways.
Vibrant golden leaves to red and to brown,
beauty’s last stand before they hit the ground,
await the arrival of Winter’s whited snow
to blend with the colors as the cold winds blow.
