Mothers of honor in trust we convey,
Our link between God and human seal,
Of what we doubt and what we feel,
Mother’s Day brings us to our senses,
Of when our spiritual trek commences,
When we honor the spirit of motherhood,
The brave, the saintly, the caring, the good,
St. Joan of Arc, Mother Teresa combined,
Our fears and loneliness we leave behind.
