Lazy Days of Summer
Lazy days of Summer are here with us now
as we wipe the sweat from our clammy brow.
The work is done and so are we.
’Tis time to sit down under the maple tree.
Ah-h the lemonade is so refreshing and cool.
It enlivens our spirit and makes us feel anew.
The dog days of summer can wear upon us.
The way it slows us down is so mysterious.
Hand me another glass of lemonade, please.
