Pillars Of Virtue

Like a man with legs shall stand,
Structures unaffected by the wind
Shall remain upright.
As pure rivers flow
Down from the summit
On their pilgrimage to the sea,
Tainted waters shall sink to the roots
And spoil the fruit.
As virtue stands on the highest mount,
Evil shall wander
Through the valley alone
From its failed intervention.

As virtue rises to stand
Before the Almighty,
Evil and the casting out of it,
Shall strengthen its credibility.
Without evil’s interference,
Virtue would have
Nothing to stand on.
Pillars of virtue are strengthened
From battles fought and won.
An increased devotion to God
And a sound mind and body
Emerge from that convictional outcome.

This is about knowing what sin is before one can rid himself of it.
