I am

I can’t lay in darkness no more,
If I’m alive, then,
Bid the light to come in,
So I  could wash in
Its golden rays,
Awakening my tired skin,
Whispering something new in my heart and soul,
Burning me if it has to.
I don’t want to lay in darkness anymore,
I’m way too alive for that,
Even If I seem to forget it sometimes,
Come, come and remind me
I am.
