Friendship
It comes and it goes
Rarely does it last
The days and memories
seem to go so fast
Mom says never trust
as far as you can throw
they will turn and leave you
with no where to go
Some are around for a lifetime,
Some are around for a season
regardless of how long
They come around for a reason
We’re meant to confide
we’re expected to spend time
After fights we then try
because friends are hard to find
We can definitely rely
on the best friend of all
Jesus will always
answer our call
It will be through prayer
or providing more friends
and it is possible
we’re on the rollercoaster again.
