Toy Story
My remediation on Toy Story 1.
There once was a boy named Andy,
who when playing with his toys would always feel dandy.
There once was a sheriff, who was a bit of a goody,
whom Andy had given him the name of Woody.
Then there was Slinky the dog and a dinosaur called Rex,
he who had muscle that looked it would flex.
A doll named Bo Peep who had a few sheep,
who hoped Woody would sweep her off her feet.
And lastly there was a pig called Hamm, who didn’t give a damn;
and a Mister Potato Head, who thought himself as a ladies’ man.
The day had arrived for the party of Andy’s birthday,
and the toys were caught off guard with a feeling of dismay.
But Woody got together the troops of army men,
who spied on potential new toys that would replace them.
So through the walky talky the toys connected speech,
the presents were opened and there was one left to reach.
In anticipation the toys listened with intent,
for only a lunch box, bed sheets and a battleship was all that was sent.
Yet when the surprise present was about to be revealed,
an anxious Rex breaks the walky talky and the present was concealed.
Andy rushes in to his bedroom and throws his surprise present on the bed,
Woody gets thrown off to the floor seeing shades of red.
He announces it is a mistake and will regain back his spot,
while the others question the “mistake” being put on top.
A space ranger stands up and looks at his crashed ship,
as the box he had come in was opened and ripped.
“I am Buzz Light Year, I come in Peace”, Buzz stated.
The toys admired him and Buzz became one they highly rated.
Buzz said he wasn’t a toy and the group of toys thought it cool,
as Rex said he was made from Mattel and Potato Head from Playskool.
Woody finds himself becoming increasingly jealous of the new space ranger,
even at playtime when Andy crowns Woody the villain and saves Buzz from danger.
The other toys decide that playing with Buzz is much more fun,
so Woody tries to reclaim himself back as number one.
The toys hear an evil laugh from outside and behind the window they hid,
for there were toys being blown up by a boy next door named Sid.
Buzz was filled in on how Sid likes to torture his toys,
they are all relieved that Andy isn’t one of those boys.
Lucky for them, Andy’s family was moving house the next day,
and so Andy’s mum announced that they go out to dinner before the move away.
She allows Andy to bring just one toy for the dinner,
so Woody stages an act to make himself be the winner.
Woody urgently tells Buzz that there is a toy in trouble,
as he watches Buzz frantically try to save the toy causing such rubble.
In the heat of the help, Buzz accidently falls out the window into a bush,
for the other toys accuse Woody, saying “Humpty Dumpty was pushed”.
The toys lay silent as Andy rushes in to choose Buzz to take,
yet he cannot find Buzz and grabs Woody just for the sake.
Whilst Andy’s mum drives them to Pizza Planet to eat,
Buzz runs to the car, jumps in and straps himself in the seat.
Andy and his mum stop off at the gas station to re fill the car,
meanwhile Woody and Buzz fight and fall out onto the tar.
They get physical and don’t notice the car driving away,
until Woody becomes aware of the disappearance and doesn’t know what to say.
Luckily a Pizza Planet delivery car stops to fill with gas,
Woody sees this as an opportunity that he just couldn’t pass.
He tells Buzz that the space ship on top of the car is his way home,
so they run to the car, get in, and off they roam.
To enter Pizza Planet, they each had to hide under an empty soda cup,
once inside Buzz runs off, seeing a massive space ship with aliens who told him to look up.
Woody runs after Buzz and joins him with the aliens telling about the claw,
all Woody can think about is grabbing Buzz and running right out the door.
Suddenly the aliens say in unison “The Claaaw” as one has been taken as the “chosen one”,
they look out to see Sid controlling the game who spotted Buzz and was trying to hook him for fun.
Whilst Buzz has been caught and is being dragged up to Sid,
Woody latches on to Buzz and they both tumble out the lid.
The two toys find themselves in Sid’s bedroom surrounded with his toys that are mutilated,
where they both try to find an escape from the place they both hated.
Back at Andy’s, his toys hear him say that Woody is lost and he can’t find him,
so they assume that the guilt got the best of Woody so he went on a whim.
Buzz is watching TV in Sid’s house and discovers the ad for his model of Buzz Light-Years’,
which brought upon his realisation that he was actually a toy, that brought him close to tears.
Buzz is found by Sid’s sister Hannah, with his arm broken after his fall from grace,
so she picks him up, takes him to her tea party and dresses him up in pink lace.
Sid buys a rocket to blow up one of his toys, in which he chose Buzz to strap,
whilst Woody tries to connect with Andy’s toys through the window saying it is not a trap.
Because Buzz won’t come to the window, Woody uses Buzz’s arm,
the toys are horrified and think that Woody has caused Buzz harm.
So when Andy’s toys turn their backs on Woody’s plan of helping,
he tries to motivate Buzz that being a toy is the most heart felting.
The next day arrived and was the day of the explosion,
Woody finally motivated Buzz to not become corrosion.
So with Woody asking for help from Sid’s mutilated toys, to help save Buzz,
they come up with a plan and agree to do exactly what Woody does.
With Buzz strapped to the rocket outside, Woody and the others make their way down,
where Woody sacrifices himself his faced etched with a frown.
Sid picks up Woody to where Woody starts to speak,
Sid looks in horror to where his knees grow weak.
Woody says that Sid’s toys don’t like being pulled apart and don’t want to stay,
whilst his toys jump out from the sandpit surrounding Sid, forcing him to run away.
Buzz and Woody thank Sid’s toys and they make their way back to Andy,
where they see the moving truck just pulling away.
Woody lights the match he found in his pocket and sets the rocket a light,
Buzz and Woody fly through the air catching up to the truck just in sight.
They fear that the rocket strapped is about to explode and will fall a lot of miles,
so Buzz dismantles and glides through the air falling in style!
Past the truck they glide where Andy’s toys cheer in joy,
and into the car with Andy who is made a happy boy.
The toys are all reunited with each other in their new home all in glee,
where Woody turns to Buzz and announces “you’ve got a friend in me”.
