SOMETIMES

Sometimes
She wishes you were still here,
Like in the mornings
When you could pull her near,
And say I love you.

Sometimes
She cries out loud in pain
Thinking all she ever did for you,
She did in vain.

Sometimes
It feels like all of her world
Is caving in around her,
All because you are gone.

But sometimes doesn’t count
When she never will have
What could be and what should be
In her life.

Sometimes
When she sits and stares at your picture,
She doesn’t feel so empty and alone.
