Three Stanzas From a Confused Teenager
Everyone’s in such a fucking hurry
But you got nowhere to go,
What’s the point of rushing
When we’ll end up 6 feet below.
I woke up to a dead raccoon
Looking me in the eye,
It’s funny how we live our lives;
We’re all the same when we die.
Some people think I’m negative
Some people say I’m insane,
But you’ll never feel the sunlight
If you’re sitting in the rain.

On my way to school I found a dead raccoon relaxing on the ground with it's brains splattered all over the place and I came to the realization that one day I will be in the raccoon's shoes. When I die I'll be the same as a dead spider, or a dead octopus, or this smelly, splattered raccoon. It turned out to be a good day.
