The Man Said Please the Woman Heard Bees

The man said “please”
The woman heard bees,
And cringed under her bonnet
Saw it is as a misunderstanding...
After all—bees are harmless,
Not demanding
Humming the sound of the Universe
Notwithstanding
Asking nothing from humans in return,
Offering their honey
Upon the burn,
Bees rely on lawns
Pesticide & herbicide free
Dandylions tasty as can be
Let’s help the little ones do their
Pollinating without our harm,
They worship the queen Venis
Only one queen rules
At a time—bees are mysterious,
Colorful black & yellow you’ll find
They are not harmful creatures,
But are industrious & mellow,
For bussiness they can’t be outdone,
Appreciate them the next time
They fly bye & hum
