To the Plant the Sun is God
Plants gets their food from the sun
In a process called photosynthesis,
No need to get grocery shopping,
To be green has its perks,
To the plant, the Sun is God,
The Sun is telling the plant
How much He loves him,
By feeding him at the same time,
Like a mother feeds her child
With love and food,
The sun is a catalyst for information,
Kept in the plant’s RNA,
The plant (trees) knows when to hibernate
For the winter, when to bud in the spring,
We need to follow the example of the plant
And grow roots while reaching for the stars;
The plant learns form its environment,
As do we,
The plant looks for love and warmth,
As do we,
The plant is born of a seed,
As are we,
The plant lives, enjoys life,
And dies,
As do we
