Secrets
I released that hand that was so dear to me long ago.
Yes, I cried, I feared I was alone.
Letting go of something that wasn’t even mine.
I cared for something that wasted my time.
Though, I do not regret because it is I who sees–
That everything is the way it’s meant to be.
Life is too short to sit and cry.
Because no matter what, I am still in your life, as you are in mine.
Don’t get me wrong, that hand is long gone, but what keeps us together is our strong bond.
Thanking you for letting me see your smile, it was something worth wild.
Though I am sorry I am still in sorrow.
