She Came Into My Life and Handed Me Her Soul
She came into my life and handed me her soul, I took it in hopes of being whole. Now that she’s gone, it’s been plain to see, she still has a heart
but it’s not for me.
I’ve always wondered if she’d change her mind
and, if she did I knew I’d leave whatever I had
behind.
I’ve always wanted her to know how much I’ve cared. From the first conversation, I knew she would be scared.
I’ve always wanted to be the one to make her see,
that her ways aren’t crazy and in a way, she’s just like me.
I told myself if she came back, I would do anything to make a pact. A pact that no one could break
and only one that she would take.
I didn’t fall in love with her as I thought I would, only because she said, I never could.
If I was given the chance she would’ve seen, it was a privilege to have my heart broken by her, from just one glance.
For now, she’s made an impact on my life and if ever given the opportunity, I vow to work harder,
to someday, make her my wife. I would promise to give her everything she’s never had and take away any feelings of being sad.
Now that she’s carved her name into my heart, there is no way that these feelings will fade.
Only to be stronger;
I’m hoping,
someday!
