The shattered ceilings of my heart

Lost Hearts, Seeking Home

Where shall I find a place to call home?
The present dwelling lacks that inner glow.
And where I once resided,
familiarity has flown.
A distant memory,
like a river’s gentle flow.
Home, not just a space,
but in my mind, it roams,
A sanctuary of peace,
where my soul can grow.
Yet, amidst strangers,
bearing scars of wounds they own,
They shy away from love,
fearing the seeds it’ll sow.
In the echoes of silence,
my heart seeks repose,
A refuge uncharted,
where tranquility bestows.
The walls around me whisper tales untold,
Yet, finding that sacred space feels like a quest unfold.

Through uncharted landscapes, my spirit must roam,
In the vast expanse, I search for a place to call home.
