Things i want

I want a big house with big glass windows touching the ceiling, flowing white curtains, rays cascading upon my skin, a room full of books to embrace me on solitary days. A big easel and each wall whispering tales in faint traces of paint, vinyl with records from the 90s, along with a big bed and loads of pillows to fill the void. A grand piano sits by the window, the smell of petrichor drifting from my beloved garden when it rains. In the sunroom rests the blue couch, where I fall asleep watching the stars. I’ll plant flowers, each a cherished memory from my grandfather’s gentle teachings, and in the heart of the home, an open kitchen beckons, its doorway leading to the enchanting backyard. An aged cabinet holds my treasured wines, and as I pour a glass, I wonder if you’ll ever be mine.
