How attractive is vulnerability?
Because nowadays all I see is weakness
shared between many individuals
People say they want to go deeper than the superficial
That they want to peek into our souls
Have that true visibility
But once “opened” it becomes distraction
That can be used to destroy the other
So menial that the face attraction
Because a mute point
“I wished you men would show more emotion”
Countless times I’ve heard that from different peers
Yet a drop becomes an ocean
And that “forever”
Shifts to a momentary devotion
Turning love into a complex equation
A balancing act of indifference and passion
“Are you really a man if you cry”
Not really if you let it happen
Could we change the narration?
So I ask again...
How attractive is vulnerability?
