Leased soul

They lease my soul from me
They pay with dime; with dime–
Did my flesh buries far beneath to wake
Nor behold a light; who shall see or rescue me?
I bellow at thee who mourn or weep at my tomb,
“Let me sleep! Let me sleep!: Lend me thy soul or relieve me
And let me live”.
But when i sin and when lays fetters upon me
Or when flowing cups run swiftly round my feet,
That is when they blow out the candle and forsake me,
That is when the clown frightens me!
That is when they trash and unfilled me.
