Skin is what we are born in
Flesh and bones
We come in many shades
And beautiful tones
Living in a world where everyone
Desires to be a size "0"
The value of nothing
How is that equal?
SUPERFICIAL societies
Cutting of Flesh
Risking your life to have the perfect breast
Ignoring the true pain that comes from the
Other organ in your chest
A heart that yearns to be like someone else
A lie you create for hating your self
Don’t get mad at me for loving my curves
Insult me, you have your nerve
Cause I do not have to wait for the surgical scars to heal
Waiting for the bandages to come off, and peel
Unveiling what you thought was a more beautiful you
Setting your self up to find something else to change
Erasing the real you
